2021 W U.S. Mint Gold Eagle Designer Set NGC PF70 FDOI Signed by Miley Frost and Jennie Norris

This two-coin gold proof strike set was issued by the U.S. Mint to mark the historic design change of the American Gold Eagle series in 2021. Only 5,000 sets were minted at the West point Mint comprising two fractional $5 Gold Eagle coins. This is an official U.S. mint set, no $10, $25 or $50 denomination designer sets were released.

NGC has certified this set in perfect PF70 condition, the highest numeric numismatic grade any coin can achieve. Significantly, both pieces are designated as First Day of Issue coins. Adding another level of exclusivity are the genuine hand signatures of Miley Frost, the designer of the “Family of Eagles design”, 1986-2021” and Jennie Norris who designed the new “Eagle Head” coin introduced in 2021. The designers’ initials are engraved on each coin adding a personal touch and creating a one-of-a-kind collectible with an important historical connection.
